Welcome to Twin Cities Paddlesports. Our non-profit club offers community-based paddle sports instruction, coaching, and racing to the Payne-Phalen neighborhood, St. Paul, and surrounding cities.
Our coeducational programs allow children and teenagers to be active and fit, and our coaches introduce them to the fundamentals of paddling and competitive flatwater racing. We provide all paddles, life vests (PFDs), kayaks, canoes, or dragon boats. We practice on Lake Phalen and participate in local and national races, and our ambitious athletes have competed internationally.
We partner with the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District to make watersports affordable for kids. Please check out our programs and events to learn more about our club, or stop by the boathouse at Lake Phalen during practice hours to see the sport in action.
The American Canoe Association, ACA, serves as the National Governing Body
for Olympic Paddlesports.
