Beginner Kayak Program

Yesterday was our first kayaking practice of the 2025 season. It was a beautiful evening, and everyone enjoyed being back on the water after the winter break.

Come and join our youth kayaking and dragon boat racing club. We have programs for kids ages 10 to 18.

First Practice of the Season

After eight years at Lake Phalen in St. Paul, we are moving our growing program to Lake Johanna in Arden Hills. 

We are excited about the new location, which will give us easy access to the water, improve parking and drop-off and pickup for parents, and provides a nice park and shelters for team events.

Experienced sprint paddlers can join our Race Ready Program. Kids learn to master fast kayaks, paddle single or team boats, and compete in local races.

We are finally starting a new teen dragon boat team at TCP.&nbsp;Join this&nbsp;July and August&nbsp;- Dragon boat racing for teenagers, age 12-17, at Lake Johanna + Five weeks of paddling and competing at the Dragon Festival in Starbuck, MN.
